U.S. July Natural Gas Exports Set Record

On September 28th, 2018 the U.S. Energy Information Agency released the September Natural Gas Monthly report. It contained the final government data for U.S. natural gas exports through July 2018.Total combined (Pipeline and LNG) U.S. natural gas exports for July 2018 set a one-month volume record at 301.03 Bcf.Total U.S. LNG exports for July 2018 also set a one month gas volume record at 98.24 Bcf for the month of July 2018.

The Numbers:
302.99 Bcf - Total combined (Pipeline and LNG) U.S. natural gas exports for July 2018. This was a record one-month volume. Prior high was January 2018 at 301.03 Bcf

98.24 Bcf – Total U.S. LNG exports for July 2018. This is an all time U.S. record for U.S. LNG exports in month. Previous record was 94.8 Bcf in May 2018.

147.19 Bcf – Total pipeline exports to Mexico in July 2018. This is a record for monthly pipeline volume to Mexico. Prior record was May 2018 at 138.13 Bcf.

1,986.13 Bcf – Total volume of all U.S. natural gas exports for the first seven months of 2018. This is a record volume for the first seven months of a year. Prior record was the first seven months 2017 at 1,801.52 Bcf
