U.S. December 2019 LNG Export Data

On February 19th, 2020 the U.S. Department of Energy released the most recent data for vessel-borne LNG exports of U.S. produced LNG. The report includes data through December 2019. Summary information from the report below. 

Vessel borne exports of U.S. Natural Gas 2019.  Volume of natural gas for year 2019 by departure terminal.

Sabine Pass: 1,142.66 Bcf
Corpus Christi: 312.2 Bcf
Cove Point: 227.33 Bcf
Cameron: 82.57 Bcf
Freeport: 49.01 Bcf
Elba Island: 3.25 Bcf

2019 total U.S. Natural Gas exports via Vessel 1.817 Tcf  compared to 1.082 Tcf in 2018. 

December 2019: 220.1 Bcf of natural gas exported  
• 15.7% increase over November 2019
• 79.4% more than December 2018

69 U.S. cargos were shipped in December 2019
• Sabine Pass (34), Corpus Christi (12), Cameron (8), Cove Point (7), Freeport, (7), Elba Island (1)
• 57 cargos in November 2019
• 36 cargos in December 2018
