On October 23rd, 2017 Cheniere Energy submitted a monthly progress report to the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the Corpus Christi Liquefaction project. The report covers activities of the project that occurred during the month of September 2017.
The report noted engineering has progressed to 100.0%. Procurement has progressed to 89.4%. Subcontract and direct hire construction work are 49.4% and 49.2% complete, respectively. The total Project has progressed to 72.4% complete against the plan of 74.1%.
The jobsite was closed from August 24 to September 10, 2017. Upon return, Construction started recovery effort from Hurricane Harvey impact and continued progressing permanent plant concrete, structural steel, aboveground pipe, electrical and equipment installation. Major highlights for September included preassembly of the flare and commencement of stacking, compressor lube oil pipe tests and the 3 systems which were turned over to startup.
