Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project Monthly Progress Report for May, 2017

The overall Project has progressed to 65.6%. Activities planned for the month of June 2017 are on track.

On June 21st, 2017 Cheniere Energy submitted a monthly construction progress report to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project. The Corpus Christi site is located on the La Quinta Channel on the northeast side of Corpus Christi Bay in San Patricio County, Texas. The report covered activities of the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project that occurred during the month of May 2017.

The report noted engineering has progressed to 100.0%. Procurement has progressed to 86.9%. Subcontract and direct hire construction work are 34.2% and 37.0% complete, respectively. The total Project has progressed to 65.6% complete against the plan of 65.3%. The overall Project has progressed to 65.6%. Activities planned for the month of June 2017 are on track.

Construction in May, 2017 focused on progressing permanent plant concrete and structural steel, underground and above ground pipe, electrical and equipment installation. Major highlights for May included delivery and setting of Train 2 Refrigeration Compressors, setting of Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) Building, setting of the first Field Instruments, setting of the first BOG Compressor, and commencement of OSBL above ground pipe hydro testing.
