Cameron LNG July 2017 Monthly Progress Report

On August 21st, 2017 Cameron LNG submitted its monthly progress report for the Cameron LNG Liquefaction Project to the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. In early August Sempra announced it expects that train 1 of the project may be delayed until 2019, with Trains 2 and 3 coming online later that year. Originally train 1 was scheduled to come online in 2018.

The FERC report noted construction activities continued through the month of July. These activities consisted of civil works, structural steel erection, fireproofing work, installation of equipment, tanks and piping, electrical and instrument works, and tie-in works within the existing facility. Continued pulling vacuum on the 24” liquefaction rundown line pipe-in-pipe shroud cavities. Continued installation of shoreline protection along the eastern ship channel boundary. Continued installation of major equipment. All new workers received HSE training prior to starting work.
