One example of MAC’s innovative designs is their line of CNC Pipe Profile Cutting Machines.  The CNC Pipe Profile Cutting Machines come in various sizes to accommodate different pipe diameters and can be used with either oxy-fuel cutting or plasma torches.  The CNC control eliminates the need for any complicated operator layout or patterns.  The operator simply inputs the required data such as pipe diameter, material thickness and joint type and the computer then makes all of the required calculations for a perfect accurate cut.  Due to the accuracy of the cuts all grinding and additional fit-up work associated with manual cutting is eliminated.

MAC’s CNC Pipe Profile Cutting Machines dramatically cut the man hours and operator skill required to cut accurate pipe joints.  Weld quality is also greatly increased due to the accuracy of the cuts.  The large cost savings in labor lead to a short payback time for the machines.
